Our Story

Let me tell you about our self

Hey there!

We truly appreciate you taking the time out of your day to read our Findicus story.

We had an immense passion in the animal husbandry sector since our childhood. Therefore, we wanted to start a business of our own in the animal husbandry industry after finishing our undergraduation. So, in 2019 we founded IndicusA2 dairy, a small dairy startup company. It was the first business we launched. We were only dealing with A2 milk and its by-products. We owned a farm where we raised Indian cows, including Gir, Kangrej, Sahiwal, and Punganur. A few of the farmers also raised Indian cows inspired by our farm. All of the A2 milk was coming from our farm and other nearby farms. Fortunately, or unfortunately we were unable keep up our startup company for over two years. We encountered numerous issues that affected us during our first startup, including not being able to generate a positive cash flow for every month and managing the day-to-day operations of a dairy farm. With great sadness, and after careful consideration, we chose to shut down our first startup company.

We had numerous opportunities to meet livestock and poultry farmers from various parts of the state of Tamilnadu all through the two-year journey. Many farmers were stunned to learn that, despite having degrees, we chose to launch a dairy farm rather than work for a multinational corporation. Many farmers unintentionally began to discuss the difficulties they were facing in their animal husbandry businesses. They firmly believed that we educated people would find a solution to their problems, one way or another. We discovered that the majority of farmers encounter a significant issue while buying or selling of livestock and/or poultry because there isn’t an organised market for these. Farmers are either forced to incur large expenses or are experiencing financial losses as a result.

Even though our first business venture was a failure, we firmly thought that we did not fail as entrepreneurs. Thus, we were looking for our next business idea when we came across this one. It seemed like a great opportunity, so we decided to launch it as our next business venture. After conducting market research we began developing the Findicus app, a smartphone app-based digital marketplace platform for livestock and poultry. With the help of this app, farmers will be able to buy or sell livestock and/or poultry in an easy and hassle-free manner by connecting with the right seller or buyer based on their demand, location, price expectations, etc. The majority of the issues that livestock and poultry farmers face can be resolved in one way or another through our Findicus app.

We are constantly striving to enhance Findicus and offer the best possible solution to farmers who raise livestock and poultry.

With regards,
Vignesh Anand and Vashantha Vannen,
Findicus’ co-founders.
